What does WPC mean?
Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC) is a nutritious protein isolated from milk whey. WPC is obtained by the removal of sufficient non-protein constituents from whey so that the finished dry product contains more than 25% protein. It is processed by physical separation techniques such as precipitation or filtration.
WPC is used to add concentrated whey protein to food products such as nutrition bars, processed cheeses, baked goods, sports beverages, protein powders, and muscle gain formulations.
