What does UTM mean?
Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) is a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is used to inspect the local thickness of metallic material and non-metallic materials such as plastics, ceramics, glass, and any other good ultrasonic wave conductor. UTM uses ultrasounds that penetrate the material and are reflected back to the sensor, then the information is processed and interpreted.
