What does MCH mean?

Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH) or Mean Cell Hemoglobin (MCH), is a measure of the average amount of Hemoglobin (Hb) in the Red Blood Cells (RBC).
MCH = Hb ÷ RBC count

Note:
Hemoglobin is a protein in red blood cells that stores (binds) oxygen, which is what allows the blood to transport oxygen throughout the body.
MCH is a useful measurement for understanding how effectively oxygen is being distributed throughout the body.
