What does TFSI mean?
Turbocharged Fuel Stratified Injection (TFSI) or Turbo Fuel Stratified Injection (TFSI), is a turbo charged version of Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI) technology where the fuel is pressure-injected straight into the combustion chamber in such a way as to create a stratified charge. TFSI engines can achieve combustion quality and thermodynamic efficiency and consequently fuel efficiency.
