Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) is a unit used to measure cargo capacity for container ships and container terminals. A standard shipping container is about 20 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 4 to 9 feet tall.
Note:
TEU is the total length of the container in foot divided by 20
For example, a 48-foot container equals 2.4 TEU
