What does PT mean?
Premium-Tatkal (PT) is a scheme in Indian Railway in which tickets will be dynamically priced like airline fares. The price of the ticket will be raced with demand, which vary from 10 per cent to 30 per cent and depending on the class of travel. Unlike Tatkal tickets, there is no waitlisting in Premium-Tatkal tickets. An assured berth is proviced in Premium Tatkal. Cancellations of PT tickets are not allowed.
