What does PR mean?
Pull Request (PR) is a request initiated by a developer to merge the changes they have made in their local branch into the main branch or another designated branch of the repository.
PR process allows developers to propose changes, have them reviewed by peers, and then merge those changes into the main codebase. It allows for collaborative code review and discussion before the changes are integrated into the main codebase.
Platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket have integrated features to facilitate this process.
Note:
Version Control System (VCS) is a software tool that helps manage changes to the source code of a software project over time. It allows multiple developers to work collaboratively on a project by keeping track of changes, maintaining a historical record of modifications, and facilitating collaboration and coordination among team members.
