Phencyclidine or Phenylcyclohexyl Piperidine (PCP), also known as Angel Dust, is a mind-altering drug usually comes as a white powder that may cause hallucinations, distorted perceptions of sounds, and violent behavior. It was originally developed as a general anesthetic but was discontinued because of serious adverse effects on patients. PCP is an illegal street drug in many countries.
