What does Mb mean?

Megabit (Mb) is a unit of digital information or data transmission speed. The prefix mega means one million, which is equivalent to 1,000,000 or 10⁶ bits.
Mb is commonly used to measure data transfer rates, such as internet connection speeds or network bandwidth.
Example:
Internet speed of 100 Megabits per second (Mbps).

Note:
MegaByte (MB) and Megabit (Mb) are different:
1 MB = 8 Mb
1 megabyte is equal to 8 megabits.
The capital B represents Byte, and the small b represents bit.
