Indigenous Defense Fighter (IDF) is a multi-role fighter aircraft developed by the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) of Taiwan. It was produced by Taiwan for the Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF).
IDF is also known by its official designation, the AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-kuo, named after Chiang Ching-kuo, the late President of the Republic of China (Taiwan), who initiated the program.
