What does DDUGKY mean?
Deen Dayal Upadhyay Rural Skill Development Scheme (Hindi: दीन दयाल उपाध्याय ग्रामीण कौशल्या योजना, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, DDUGKY or DDU-GKY), is a Government of India youth employment scheme focused on rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35 years from poor families. DDU-GKY is a placement linked skill training programme under the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD). DDUGKY is named in honour of Indian political philosopher Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.
