What does DDC mean?
Direct Digital Control (DDC) is an automated control of a building’s conditions through a digital device such as a computer or microprocessor. DDC systems consist of a central computer that monitors Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), lighting, or other system functions via a series of sensors. These sensors transmit data back to the digital computer, where it monitors performance and makes operational adjustments as necessary.
