What does eSIM mean?
Embedded SIM (eSIM or e-SIM), sometimes also known as electronic SIM, Soft SIM, or Virtual SIM, is a form of integrated SIM chip embedded into a device. In an eSIM, all subscriber data is stored on the device itself, so there is no need for physical SIM card slots.
eSIM would enable the user to switch providers without having to request a brand new SIM card.
