What does TC mean?
Time Code (TC) or timecode, is a sequence of numeric codes generated at regular intervals by a timing system, used to facilitate logging, synchronization, file organizing and searching in recorded media. Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) family of timecode is one of the most popular time code used in film, video and audio production. SMPTE time code assigns a specific numeric value to each individual frame or still image of the motion picture using a time stamp in hours, minutes, seconds, and frame.
