What does T mean?

Tritium (3H or T) is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen. It has one proton and two neutrons in its nucleus, compared to the single proton in the nucleus of regular hydrogen.
The name "Tritium" is derived from the Greek word "tritos" meaning "third". This is because tritium has three times the number of particles in its nucleus compared to the single proton in regular hydrogen.
