What does PfP mean?
Partnership for Peace (PfP) is a subsidiary organization of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) comprising countries that wish to be allied with NATO but have not been granted full NATO membership. It allows partners to build up an individual relationship with NATO, choosing their own priorities for cooperation.
PfP aims to promote peace and stability in Europe together with the PfP-Partner nations and build relationships with partners through military-to-military cooperation on training, disaster planning and response, science and environmental issues, and policy planning.
