Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, formerly known as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), is a political and economic alliance of six Middle Eastern countries consisting of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. It aims to boost co-ordination, integration, and interconnection among member countries in all fields in order to achieve unity among them.
