What does PI-RADS mean?

Prostate Imaging Reporting & Data System (PI-RADS) is a standardized reporting system for multiparametric Magnetic Resonance Imaging (mpMRI) of the prostate.
PI-RADS was developed to improve the consistency and accuracy of prostate cancer detection and characterization. The system assigns scores ranging from 1 to 5, with higher scores indicating a higher likelihood of clinically significant cancer.
