Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) is an open-source data integration tool used for Extracting, Transforming, and Loading (ETL) data. It provides a Graphical User nterface (GUI) that allows users to visually design and configure data integration workflows, also known as data pipelines or data flows.
PDI was originally developed by Pentaho Corporation and later acquired by Hitachi Vantara, PDI is now part of the Hitachi Vantara Pentaho suite of business intelligence and data integration tools.
