What does OMR mean?
Optical Mark Reader (OMR) is a special scanning device used in Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology to read the presence or absence of human-marked data on a hand-filled form optically and converts into a computer data file. The Optical Mark Reader did this by directing light on to the paper and the reflected light is analyzed for the detection of a mark in hand-filled forms such as educational tests, surveys, assessments, evaluations, and many other multiple choice forms.
