National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) is a Government of India project to connect over 2,50,000 Gram Panchayats (GP) in the country to form an optical fiber network with an objective to facilitate the delivery of the internet to rural India. The project is maintained and operated by Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL).
