What does CSR mean?

Claim Settlement Ratio (CSR) is the ratio of the total number of claims settled by the insurance company to the total number of claims received in the same time period.
For example, if an insurace company has a CSR of 97%. It means that the insurance company has successfully settled 97% of the claims it received. A high CSR indicates that the insurance company is more likely to settle a claim without any hassles.
