What does CKYC mean?

Central Know Your Customer (CKYC) or Central KYC, is an initiative of the government of India to bring the Know Your Customer (KYC) process of all financial sector entities under a single window. It is managed by the Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI).
Central KYC Registry (CKYCR) is a centralized repository of KYC records of customers in the financial sector with uniform KYC norms and is accessible to all financial institutions.
