Indian Code of Justice (Hindi: भारतीय न्याय संहिता, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, BNS) is a proposed new penal code for India.
BNS is a comprehensive code that will replace the current Indian Penal Code (IPC), Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), and Evidence Act.
BNS bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament, on August 11, 2023, and is currently under consideration.
