What does SEX mean?
The RCA CDP1802, also known as the COSMAC (Complementary Symmetry Monolithic Array Computer), is a one-chip CMOS 8-bit, register-oriented microprocessor (µP) introduced by Radio Corporation of America (RCA) in 1976. RCA 1802 microprocessors had a “SEt X register” or SEX instruction. Using the SEX instruction, you can select any of the 16-bit registers to be the index register.
