What does n8n mean?

n8n (pronounced: n-eight-n) is a workflow automation tool that allows users to connect different apps, APIs, and services to automate tasks without writing much code. It uses a node-based visual interface, where each “node” represents an action, trigger, or integration. Users can create workflows by connecting these nodes together.
The name n8n originates from the word “nodemation,” which is formed by combining “node” and “automation.”
n8n is a numeronym, where the number “8” represents the eight letters between the first “n” and the last “n” in “nodemation.”
