What does SIP mean?
Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) or Structural Insulating Panel is a form of a composite building material used in the construction industry. It consists of an insulating layer of rigid polymer foam sandwiched between two layers of structural board. The board can be sheet metal, plywood, cement or similar materials. It can be used for many different applications, such as an exterior wall, roof, floor and foundation systems.
