What does RTI mean?
Return to Invoice (RTI) is a type of insurance coverage that provides compensation to a policyholder if their vehicle is stolen or gets damaged and declared a total loss. RTI coverage is offered as an optional add-on to a standard auto insurance policy and covers the gap between the Insured Declared Value (IDV) and the invoice value of the car.
Note:
RTI coverage is typically only available for new vehicles, usually between one and three years from the date of purchase.
