What does PWR mean?
Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) is a nuclear reactor in which water, heated by nuclear energy, is kept a high pressure to prevent the water from boiling. In PWR a secondary coolant loop is maintained to generate steam, which in turn run a turbine and produce electricity.
