What does OTT mean?

Over-The-Top (OTT) refers to the delivery of content over the internet rather than through a traditional cable or broadcast provider. OTT rides on top of the pre-existing internet connection. Some examples of OTT services are Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and so on.

OTT content is any content that comes from an OTT content provider.
OTT device is a device used to consume OTT content. Examples: Apple TV, Chromecast, PlayStation, Xbox, Amazon Fire TV, and other streaming devices.
