What does N mean?

Natural Numbers (N) are a set of positive integers, which are the numbers used for counting and ordering. They are also called counting numbers as they are used to count objects.
They are often represented by the symbol N, for example, N = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...}
However, in some branches of mathematics and computer science, the set of natural numbers is defined to include 0 as well, resulting in N = {0,1,2,3,4,5,...}. This is known as the extended natural number system, where zero is also considered a natural number.
