What does MVNO mean?
Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) is a wireless communications services provider that sells mobile phone service by making use of another company’s existing network infrastructure. An MVNO provides mobile phone services but does not have its own network infrastructure and licensed radio spectrum. MVNO leases wireless communications services from a third-party Mobile Network Operator (MNO) at wholesale prices and resells it to consumers at reduced retail prices under its own business brand. An MVNO will have its own rates and calling plan features, its own billing system, and its own customer service department.
