What does FRP mean?

Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) or Fibre-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) is a composite material made of a polymer that is supported with fibers for added strength. The fibers are usually glass, carbon, aramid, or basalt. The polymer is usually an epoxy, vinyl ester, or polyester thermosetting plastic.
FRP is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and is known for its mechanical strength and excellent temperature-resistant properties. FRP can be formed in complex shapes and is commonly used in the aerospace, automotive, marine, and construction industries.
