What does DAB mean?
Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) is a digital radio technology for broadcasting radio stations, in which analog audio is converted into a digital signal and transmitted on an assigned channel in order to offer distortion-free reception and CD quality sound. DAB is used in several countries, particularly in Europe.
