What does BTR mean?

Basic Tax Register (BTR) is a register that is kept in the village office to know the nature of the property and who is the land owner. It contains information on the name of the landowner, the parcel number of the land, the size of the land, the type of land, the amount of tax owed on the land, and the date of the last payment of tax.
BTR is an important document used to prove ownership of land, obtain a loan against land, or transfer ownership of land.
