What does APU mean?
Accelerated Processing Unit (APU), formerly known as Fusion, is a series of 64-bit microprocessors from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). APU is a system-on-chip design that includes a Central Processing Unit (CPU) and a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) within a single chip thus improves data transfer rates between these components while reducing power consumption.
