What does AHI mean?

Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI), also known as Apnoea–Hypopnoea Index (AHI), is a measure used in sleep medicine to assess the severity of sleep apnea.
AHI is calculated by dividing the total number of apneas and hypopneas by the total sleep time in hours.

Note:
Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep.
Apneas are defined as pauses in breathing that last for 10 seconds or more, while hypopneas are defined as reductions in airflow that are at least 30% of normal and last for 10 seconds or more.
