Air Displacement Plethysmography (ADP) is a method to measure human body composition.
In ADP, the subject is required to sit inside an enclosed chamber (plethysmograph). ADP estimates the subject’s body volume from the air which is displaced when the subject is in the chamber and assesses lean mass and fat mass inside the body.
