What does QR Code mean?
Quick Response Code (QR Code) is a type of 2D bar code that is readable with digital devices like smartphones. Most smartphones have built-in QR code scanner integrated into their camera app. That allows to point the camera at a QR code and be able to scan and read it.
QR code is most often used to store web links; however, they can store arbitrary data, such as phone numbers, text, or other information.
Note:
Bar codes store information along one axis, horizontally. QR codes store information in both vertical and horizontal axes, which allows them to hold significantly more data.
