What does Internet mean?

Interconnected Network (Internet) refers to the global system of interconnected computer networks that use the Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to communicate and share information. It is an international network of networks that consists of millions of public and private networks.
Internet essentially means an internetwork or a network of networks.
The Internet allows for the exchange of data, information, and resources across a vast network of computers and devices worldwide.
