What does SMS mean?
Static Memory System (SMS) comprised of of two or more memory elements to store data. The values to be stored are represent as charges in the memory. A read circuit is used to detect the charge stored on the memory elements and continually translates the charge into a logic value indicative of the data value while the static memory system is powered on without using a read signal that specifies a dedicated read cycle.
