What does SDCA mean?

Short Distance Charging Area (SDCA) is a telecom area which is smaller than the size of a district. Department of Telecom network in India configured the the entire telecom network in to telecom circles, which is generally equivalent to size of a state. The Circles are further categorized into Switching Areas (SSA) or Long Distance Charging Areas(LDCA), which is equivalent to size of a district. LDCAs are further divided into Short Distance Charging Areas (SDCAs), which is smaller than the size of a district or Taluk. Each taluk may have local exchange in various towns/villages within the taluk.
