What does DVD mean?
Digital Versatile Disk (DVD), sometimes also known as Digital Video Disc (DVD), is an optical disc storage media format for storing digital data. DVD offer higher storage capacity than Compact Disc (CD) while having the same dimensions. A DVD is capable of holding 4.7 GigaByte (GB) storage capacity on a single-sided, one-layered disk. DVD can be single or double-sided, and can have two layers on each side. A double-sided, two-layered DVD can hold up to 17 GB of digital data.
